Outside back Chase Tiatia is another player who gets the opportunity to make is his Super Rugby debut this season. The outside back had an impressive 2015 ITM Cup season with his new Province Bay of Plenty and was awarded their Rookie of the Year and Back of the Year. Tiatia was part of the Wellington Under 19’s side who won the inaugural Jock Hobbs memorial National Under 19’s tournament in 2014.
