Back at the Chiefs after great experience playing in Japan and with Samoa at the 2015 Rugby World Cup, Tim's verstatility in the backline gives us exciting options for 2018
Tim Nanai-Williams returned to the Gallagher Chiefs in 2017 bringing immense experience, having been involved with both of the Chiefs championship title campaigns. He represented Samoa in Sevens and at the 2015 Rugby World Cup, as well as a stint in Japan. Williams has also played sevens for New Zealand.
He has previously earned a nomination in the 2012 Steinlager Awards for ITM Cup Player of the Year after being a key play maker in Counties Manukau’s 2012 ITM Cup Championship win. Nanai-Williams missed the end of the 2013 Super Rugby season and the ITM Cup season due to groin surgery.
