HSBC NZ Sevens Seating Zones:

Blue Zone: Brian Perry, Allocated seating. Enjoy the action from your own allocated seat.

Amber Zone (R18): WEL Network Stand, general admission (non-allocated) seating. Enjoy the atmosphere, and make the most of all the action on and off the pitch. Please note, this is STRICTLY an R18 zone.

Family Zone: Family area, general admission (Green Zone grass embankment). If it’s freedom to roam and room to run around you’re after, choose your seats in the Family Zone (Green Zone) where you can bring a picnic and rug, some folding chairs and enjoy space to spread out on the embankment. With a reduced capacity and set-up for shade and fun, the Sevens Family Zone is in easy proximity to the Family Fun-Fair on Mill St Park with lots of family friendly entertainment – AND you can roam freely to use all the services in the Brian Perry Stand! You can also access the Teams warm up area on Fred Jones Park.

White Zone: Goal line, alcohol free, general admission non-allocated seating. Just a little bit quieter.

There’s no differentiation between covered and uncovered for the Sevens, however, only members who hold a Chiefs Red Zone membership will be able to access the covered Blue Zone Brian Perry seating.

CHIEFS MEMBERS INFORMATION:

Does my Sevens Zone have to be the same as my Chiefs Investec Super Rugby Zone?

No, you can choose to sit wherever you like providing there is capacity in that area. Please see below for a rundown on all of the Sevens zones and how to choose where you should sit.

Seating in the Blue Zone (Brian Perry Stand) is very limited. Chiefs members with seats in the Brian Perry Stand will have their membership seats reserved for them for the Sevens during the renewal period. After this period, seats will be on a ‘best available’ basis.

All members will have the choice to take seats for the Sevens in their membership area or relocate to another Zone of their choice (subject to availability). Members choosing to relocate into the Blue Zone (Brian Perry Stand Uncovered) will most likely receive seating in the end bays due to capacity.

As this is a World Rugby owned event, New Zealand Rugby has to provide premium seating to meet the World Rugby contracted requirements, which means capacity in certain areas is limited.

Which zone should I sit in for the HSBC NZ Sevens?

Chiefs Red / Black Zone = Sevens “Blue Zone” = Enjoy allocated seating in your membership seat with all the great amenities you’re used to. Plus take a wander to the Entertainment Zone (R18) or Family Fun-Fair on Mill St Park, or the Teams warm up area on Fred Jones Park.

If you’re keen to be in the action a bit more or have some space to spread out or run around, maybe consider trying a different Zone for the Sevens!

  • In the action: Choose your seating allocation for the Sevens in the Amber Zone (GA, R18) – with easy access to the Entertainment Zone (Mill St Park), you’ll be in the midst of the action as much as you would like.

We cannot guarantee that any additional seats will be next to your existing membership seats so please note if you would like to have them all allocated together and we will contact you to discuss your options.
