Fiti Sa has developed into a talented young lock transitioning from rugby league to rugby union during his teenage years.
Born in Christchurch, Sa began his rugby journey in league before moving to Wellington, where he took up union. After returning to Christchurch, he attended Christ’s College, earning selection for the New Zealand Barbarians and New Zealand Under 19s, highlighting his rapid rise through the age group ranks.
Following his success, Sa represented the Crusaders Under 20s before relocating to Waikato ahead of the 2023 season, continuing his development in a new environment.
Sa has represented Taranaki in the National Provincial Championship since 2023 and was named in their full squad for the 2024 Bunnings NPC. His progression was rewarded when he was selected in the Chiefs squad for the 2025 Super Rugby Pacific season, marking his step into Super Rugby as a lock within the Gallagher Chiefs.
