Josh Jacomb is a versatile player who can play as first five-eighth or fullback, bringing composure to the Gallagher Chiefs backline. Jacomb grew up on Auckland’s North Shore and attended Sacred Heart College, where he developed his rugby foundations.
He has represented Taranaki in the NPC since 2021, being named in their full squad for the 2023 Bunnings NPC.
Although initially part of the Chiefs development squad for 2024, Jacomb made his Super Rugby debut in Round 3 of the 2024 season against the Reds, marking the start of his involvement with the Chiefs.
