Chiefs manawa head to the capital 

Round 5 of the Sky Super Rugby Aupiki season lands in the capital for a familiar battle between the Chiefs Manawa and Hurricanes Poua this Saturday at Sky Stadium. 

With a dominant performance from the Chiefs Manawa between the two teams in Round 3, they are aiming to repeat that performance to achieve a win after being defeated by the Blues last week.   

Heading into round 5 this week, Chiefs Manawa have made a team restructure to ensure top performance. Mia Anderson moves off the bench into the starting lineup at No. 8, while captain Kennedy Tukuafu shifts into to No.7 in a team revamp.   

Kiriana Nolan is named to start at No. 12 with Renee Holmes rounding out the squad at 23.  

With the 2025 Sky Super Rugby Aupiki season nearing the end, teams are ramping up the intensity as they battle for a spot in the finals.
