Kyle Brown is a versatile midfielder who has progressed through the New Zealand development pathway to earn his place with the Gallagher Chiefs. Brown developed his game at Feilding High School, where he played First XV rugby before continuing his rugby journey.
Brown joined the Hurricanes academy, representing the New Zealand Barbarians in 2020 and the Hurricanes Under 20 side in 2021. He has continued to play his club rugby for Feilding, maintaining strong ties to his home region.
Brown has represented Manawatū in the NPC since 2023 and was named in the squad for the 2025 Bunnings NPC.
In 2025, he gained valuable international experience overseas, representing the Utah Warriors in Major League Rugby. His performances were recognised with selection in the Chiefs squad for the 2026 Super Rugby Pacific season.
