The Gallagher Chiefs are proud to confirm the signing of Lalakai Foketi marking a homecoming for the internationally capped Wallaby.
Having been born in Kirikiriroa, Foketi’s journey comes full circle as he returns to Chiefs Country. Having had experienced the club through the Chiefs pathways programme during the tenure of Dave Rennie, Foketi’s first Super Rugby appearances were with the Melbourne Rebels, before a return to provincial NZ rugby with Bay of Plenty.
Representing Australia on the international stage earning 9 test caps, the move marks a pivotal moment for Foketi.
