A product of St Pauls Collegiate, loose forward Malachi Wrampling, brother of Gallagher Chiefs midfielder Gideon Wrampling, has been a standout player throughout his career.
He made his Gallagher Chiefs debut in Round 4 of the DHL Super Rugby Pacific in 2025 against Fijian Drua.
He was selected for the New Zealand Schools team in 2021 and also represented the NZ Barbarians and University of Waikato Chiefs teams in U18s.
In 2023 he was named in the University of Waikato Chiefs U20 team and impressed to be selected for the New Zealand U20 team to contest the World Rugby U20 championship in South Africa.
