Aidan Ross to join Queensland Reds after 2025 season

The Chiefs Rugby Club today confirms that former All Black Aidan Ross will join the Queensland Reds in July 2025 until the end of 2027.

Australian-born Ross first debuted for the Gallagher Chiefs in 2017 and has been an influential part of the team for a monumental 88 games, to date, in the red, black and yellow jersey.

Ross said: “This decision hasn’t been an easy one, but this year will be my last season with the Gallagher Chiefs.

“This team has meant so much to me and my family. I’m grateful for the opportunities I’ve been provided while wearing the jersey.

“The boys and management are a great group, and I am looking forward to kicking off the Super Rugby Pacific season with them.”

Gallagher Chiefs head coach Clayton McMillan wishes Ross all the best for his next adventure.

“Aidan has given a lot to this team, and we support him and his family in making the move next season. He has been an asset to us, on and off the field, and I have no doubt he will be the same for the Reds.”

Ross will make the move to Brisbane following the 2025 DHL Super Rugby Pacific season.
